Santa Cruz Breakers 88G pose
with Mia Hamm!!!

This wonderful photo of the Santa Cruz Breakers 88G with Mia Hamm was taken in Raleigh, North Carolina, where the girls played at the College Showcase during the Women's College Cup Final this weekend. Breakers 88G had a great weekend and showed very well in front of many college coaches. After this weekend, about half of the players have been contacted and recruited by college coaches to play at their school.

The Breakers 88G played against Colorado State Cup finalist, Real Colorado and beat them 4-0. The second game finished 0-0 against the Ohio State Champs, Cleveland Cobras, and on day 3 they lost against Virginia State Champs, Virginia Beach FC.

The team attended both semifinals of the Women's College Cup and the final between North Carolina and Notre Dame. It was a great experience for our club! Our Breakers teams will go again to this tournament in the future.
